  • CRITERIA: All Nominees must be aged 18 years and over. Volunteer Community Carer could be someone who volunteers at a community centre ie/ Soup Kitchen. Volunteer Family Member could be a guardian or relative of the nominee. Youth Carer is somebody who is in a paid carer's position. Adult Carer is somebody who is in a paid carer's position. Organisation ie: including is a registered business, not-for-profit charity, that provides goods or services for carers that are operating in NSW, Australia NOMINEE CATEGORIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • 1. The awards are open to carer's who are individuals operating in the public, private or voluntary sectors, direct employers, work colleagues, friends, family, a registered company, charities or not-for-profit organisation within NSW, Australia.
  • 2. Nomination entry is free of charge.
  • 3. Submissions will only be accepted for the specified categories.
  • 4. To ensure that your nomination is considered, please ensure that all supporting information does not exceed one page of A4 in 11-point text.
  • 5. An Awards ceremony will be held to announce the Finalists.
  • 6. Nominations must be submitted by the deadline stated in the Terms and Conditions,
  • 11.59pm Saturday 31st August 2024.
  • 7. Furthermore, applicants must ensure their nomination form is complete and accurate, as incomplete or incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
  • 8. Nomination forms can be accompanied by supporting material to give evidence of excellence.
  • 9. The finalists will be selected by our judges based on the outlined criteria that have been answered in the nomination form.
  • 10. The judges’ decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • 11. Nominations for Velvet Rose- Inspiring Carers' Awards and participation in them shall not entail any liability on behalf of the promoters.
  • 12. Velvet Rose- Inspiring Carers' Awards are intended to recognise excellence and achievement, and any entries not deemed to meet this standard will be immediately
  • disqualified.
  • 13. Chantilley’s Pty Ltd reserves the right to make decisions relating to any changes at any
  • time through the Velvet Rose Inspiring Carers' Awards process.
  • 14. Nominees must be prepared to accept their award in person at the Awards Ceremony
  • event and be willing to use their names and images for publicity purposes by Chantilley’s Pty Ltd or any third parties we may use in current or future promotions.
  • 15. Velvet Rose Inspiring Carers' Award Ceremony event will be held at the Jamieson Room inside St John's Bowling Club on Saturday 21st September 2024
  • 16. All attendees must purchase a ticket to the event. Ticket Purchase will close at 11:59pm on Monday 9th September 2024
  • 17. One winner in each category will receive a trophy.
  • 18. Nominees will receive a certificate of recognition, allowing them to proudly proclaim their achievements in the category. They may not claim that Chantilley’s Pty Ltd endorses their products or services.

  • 20. If you have not heard from Chantilley’s Pty Ltd within a month from the date of
  • nomination closure please assume your nomination has been unsuccessful.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Whilst we understand, due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to
  • cancel/postpone your event, the following must apply:
  • ● All cancellations or change of mind made will incur a loss of full amount.
  • ● No credits will be given for a change of mind.
  • ● All cancellations made within 14 days of your event will incur a loss of all monies due as
  • stated in our terms and conditions.
  • ● Cancellations must be confirmed to Chantilley’s Pty Ltd in writing to our email
  • chantilleys@gmail.com.
  • ● Due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather conditions or accidents, Chantilley’s
  • Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel any booking and refund any deposit or payments
  • made.

  • If Velvet Rose is cancelled or postponed, refunds will be issued to the customer.
